Sunday Brunch Inviting your friends to
enjoy a Sunday Brunch is a wonderful way to spend part of a Sunday, enjoy a
gourmet feast while relaxing and still have the rest of the day to enjoy. The only work you have to
do is make the choices, since no one could try all of the following in one
meal. Consider – is this an elegant ladies only brunch or
does it include men with heartier appetites? Prices dependent on selections
made, number of guests and your requirements. Suggestions Triple Delight A variation on Mimosas,
or Bucks Fizz as we call it in England, Champagne, apricot nectar and orange
juice . This tastes just as good, but
without the buzz, if made with non alcoholic champagne. Ham and Mushroom cups Slices of Virginia ham in
muffin cups with a rich mushroom filling, topped with an omelet mixture and
baked. Asparagus and Hollandaise Sauce 4-5 stalks per person are
topped with fresh hollandaise sauce. Seasonal Crab Cakes With mildly spicy
chipotle mayonnaise – taste the crab and not the breadcrumbs Quiche Lorraine Classic bacon, cream,
Swiss cheese quiche cooked to a creamy perfection Pancakes Either simple buttermilk,
or with blueberries, or chocolate chips with mixed berry sauce. Belgian Waffles With freshly whipped
cream and mixed berry sauce Freshly Made Scones With jam and freshly
whipped cream - taste the real English scones made with butter and cream. Fresh Fruit Salad A selection of seasonal
fruits in an orange syrup with orange liqueur Lemon Poppy Seed Cake Classic poppy seed cake with
lemon zest in the cake and finished with a lemon glaze. Raspberry Almond Tart Rich almond shortbread
crust, with a raspberry preserve layer, topped by a dense ground almond cake
layer, finished with sliced almonds and powdered sugar. Peach Shortbread Squares Rich shortbread base
