Valentines Wine and Chocolate Pairing Sensation

Join Austrian Vintner Renate Wallem and Award Winning TV Chef/Instructor Oonagh Williams for a Valentines Wine and Chocolate Pairing Sensation. A fun filled evening of wine tasting and foods that complement these wines. Miss the crowds and indifferent food for Valentines. Our Christmas Food and Wine Experience was a huge success, with guests reluctant to leave.

Menu

As you arrive you will enjoy a white wine paired with a specialty cheese board that includes a creamy herb cheesecake. Then we move onto another white wine matched with a hot shrimp and cheese fondue with veggies and bread. We need this before the Chocolate fix following.

Then we move onto the important part of the evening (after all Valentines is for us Ladies and CHOCOLATE is our addiction, isn't it? And we don't need the men to enjoy this!) Men are of course welcome!

Two red wines, one to match with Pecan Indulgence - a ground pecan and cinnamon crust filled with a dark chocolate truffle filling, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. The second red wine pairs with creamy Chocolate Panna Cotta Custard.

We don't stop there. A dark Chocolate Orange Cheesecake with a Black Cherry Pinot Noir.

Finally a hot Chocolate Fondue of real chocolate, cream and liqueur with fruit and cake paired with a White Ice Wine. Ice Wines are very special, rare and a treat if you have never tasted one.

Cost is just $45 per person includes the wine tasting and the food. A $20 deposit is required to hold your place. This ensures that we provide enough food and wine. Additional wines and accessories are available for sale.

Other dates are available with different wines and menus for an unusual corporate party, friend's Get-Together, Bridal Showers, Birthday Parties, Ladies or Couples Night Out, Reunions...

Past Event - Food and Wine Experience

Join Austrian Vintner Renate Wallem and Award Winning Chef Instructor Oonagh Williams for a Food and Wine Experience. A fun filled evening of wine tasting and foods that complement these wines.
You will enjoy a selection of 2 white, 2 red wines and a dessert wine that will make a heavenly pairing with a decadent dessert.

Menu

Starting with a hot, creamy crab dip and the white wine that will complement it.
Next a cheese tray with a variety of specialty cheeses.
We move onto fresh tomato Bruschetta made with fresh tomatoes, herbs, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This requires a careful choice of wine to balance the acidity of the tomatoes and balsamic vinegar with the wine so they are both a pleasure on the tongue. Served with fresh, crispy French bread croutes.
Then mini, creamy Swedish meatballs. Tiny meatballs gently seasoned with spices in a creamy gravy, just ready to be popped in your mouth.
We will finish off with a Mocha Tipsy Cake - a chocolate and coffee Bundt cake that is saturated in a coffee syrup with Chocolate Port, smothered in whipped cream with more Chocolate Port and finished with Chocolate Curls. Served with a fruit dessert wine.
