Join Oonagh for a gluten free cooking/baking class. Since the kitchen at Souhegan is not a gluten free facility, Chef Oonagh will bring her own equipment and all the ingredients. At home, she only buys regular bread and cereal for her husband, everything else is gluten free.
In the first classes the participants will decide on the recipes for the rest of the series. Suggestions are gluten free pumpkin jelly roll, tiramisu, corn bread toaster cakes and corn bread stuffing, cream puffs, bread, brownies, as well as soups, entrees etc - all from scratch. You will get to eat everything Oonagh makes. Please note class will start Wednesday 13 October (7-9 PM). Lab fees will depend on dishes chosen.
Please contact Oonagh to register so she knows numbers for the amount of food required for class. On Wednesday 20 October Oonagh will be making stuffed pork sirloin in a hard apple cider sauce with tiramisu from home made lady fingers, Mascarpone cheese and Kahl˙a.
This fun class is limited due to space constraints. The low cost is only $70.00 per person for Amherst residents, ($80.00 for non Amherst residents).
